Weekly guest speaker and instructor: Tina is a Kennel Club Accredited Instructor, a canine behaviourist and a canine psychologist. She has held the role of Deputy Chief Training Instructor at one club, and joint Chief Training Instructor at another. She is a volunteer trainer / behaviourist at three local dogs’ homes and has over 10 years experience as a trainer. She has owned several rescue dogs, which had behavioural issues before she owned them. They went on to be well rounded members of the family and society and also did PAT (pets as therapy) work and they were used in the puppy classes as the unknown adult dog for socialisation.

Tina is an affiliated member of the Kennel Club, an associate member of the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers, affiliated to The Animal Care College and an affiliated member of PAACT (Professional Association of Advanced Canine Trainers). Tina is a volunteer trainer at one other club and she is regularly invited to various clubs as a guest trainer. Tina assesses dogs for the Kennel Club Good Citizen Awards all over the country and she Stewards for various dog clubs at their shows, Tina teaches courses and offers presentations, she is often invited as a guest speaker for other canine related clubs.
Carol has been a dog lover all her life and has owned a variety of breeds. She has a diploma in dog grooming and has been working with dogs for over 30 years. She has also worked within boarding kennels and rescue kennels for many of those years. She has owned many rescue dogs that went on to be very loyal family dogs, with some going on to compete and win in competition.

In 2007 she completed and passed a three year FdSc degree in canine behaviour and training at Bishop Burton College.

In 2008 she completed and passed a foundation dog instructors course with The Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). She is a member of the Kennel Club and is working towards becoming a Kennel Club Accredited Instructor. Carol is also a student member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and has been mentored by many of the high ranking national and international Dog Agility specialists. Carol has been competing and won in Dog Agility for 4 years with Daisy (who is a rescue dog).

The animals that share her life are her 3 dogs, Heidi (miniature Schnauzer), Daisy (Bishon Frise) and a Spike (Papillion), she also has a cat called Millie and her horse called Murphy.
